'Unequivocal, overwhelming' Australia votes 'Yes' to Same-Sex marriage
It's been a momentous day in Australian politics. Australians have had their say, delivering an almost 62 per cent 'yes' vote for same sex marriage, while about 38 per cent were against it. It's paved the way for the country's marriage law to be changed, but that won't happen before parliament can agree on the legislation.
