All four big banks raising their rates now

All four of the big banks have now raised their lending rates, saying higher regulatory costs have forced them to do it. The Federal Opposition is accusing the Government of going soft on lenders. But the Treasurer is unconcerned, saying consumers should simply shop around for the best deal.
