Australia low on asylum destination list

A new report has revealed Australia is not as popular a target for asylum-seekers as is often portrayed. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development report shows the number of people seeking asylum in Australia is significantly lower than in other Western countries. However, it also confirms Australia is increasingly becoming a magnet for migrant workers and international students on temporary visas.
