Australia 'not infrastructure ready' for expected Chinese tourism boost

Australia is in desperate need of more hotels and other infrastructure to accommodate an expected spike in the number of Chinese tourists coming to the country. One organisation that holds this view is the Australia China Business Council, which expects the number of visitors from China to double within eight years. The projected increase is being attributed in large part to an agreement allowing more Chinese airlines to fly direct to Australian tourist destinations.
