Australia's accent only now starting to adopt small changes

You can travel the breadth of Australia and, if you think about it, find very little variation in the regional English-Australian accent across the country. Now, researchers are looking at that accent and what variations do exist. There is actually an increasing multicultural influence on today's Australian accents.
