Calls to allow credit cards to be cancelled online

The consumer group Choice is calling on the federal government to require banks to allow for credit cards to be cancelled online. It says the national collective credit card debt hovers at a staggering $32 billion, and wants to make it easier for people to clear their debts. The review comes as the big four banks face another Parliamentary Inquiry on Friday, March 3.
