Former FBI director praises 'Australian model' of preventing terrorism

The former director of the United States' FBI* has praised what he calls "the Australian model" of combating terrorism. Louis J. Freeh, who led the Federal Bureau of Investigation for almost 18 years, says collaboration with the business sector, and the knowledge it provides to intelligence agencies, is integral to preventing terrorism. He and Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton have traded thoughts on homeland security during an event in Sydney.
