The Iranian House of Music in NSW is a non-for-profit incorporated association that aspires to create a collaborative space for promotion of Iranian music, and develop a harmonious coexistence between people from all backgrounds. The association founded on May 2, 2016 and tries to promote cultural integration of Iranian community within Australia - NSW by utilizing music as a universal language which can be understood by all people of any cultural backgrounds and also creates opportunities for general public to enjoy cultural exchanges through music. SBS Persian interviewed Dr. Shizar Nahidi one of the founder and vice chairman of the "Iranian House of Music NSW" (IHOM) about the association's history and goals, previous and future activities and programs.
