Iranian Society of SA Celebrates "Tirgan"

Tirgan is an ancient Iranian tradition which is still celebrated in various regions of Iran, including Mazandaran, Khorasan, and Arak. The Persian Cultural Association of South Australia (PCASA) is celebrating "Tirgan" as one of the ancient Iranian traditions. The free event is going to be held at the Migration Museum in Adelaide, South Australia this on Sunday 10 July from 1 to 3 pm. In an interview with a few members of PCASA's steering board we discussed Tirgan, its historical background, related rituals, its importance, and the event that is to be held at Migration Museum in Adelaide, South Australia.
