Australia's Immigration Department says it has nothing to say about an alleged attack on an Iranian refugee other than it's a matter for the Government of Nauru. The Refugee Action Coalition says a 34-year old Iranian was hit on the head and attacked by two Nauruans at the weekend, suffering injuries that required eight stitches. But the Nauru police have accused the refugee of making up it all up to get media attention.
