Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam and “Rebirth” in Australia

Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam is an Iranian modern dancer trained who lives and works in Paris. A graduate in history of art and theatre from the Paris 8 University, he is choreographer, actor and director. He has recently arrived in Australia to participate in Rebirth project. Rebirth is a combined art performance based on poem by the distinguished Iranian poet Forugh Farrokhzad. The internationally recognised contemporary ballet dancer, Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam and the prodigious Australian-Iranian soprano singer Shirin Majd with her ensemble Sweet Sound will be complimented by visual art to bring to life Farokhzads poems. Jordin Steele will narrate songs for the non-Persian speakers. In an interview with SBS Persian, Mr Moshkin Ghalam speaks about his upcoming appearance in Rebirth.
