Health authorities on high alert over potential spread of Zika virus

The Zika virus is being blamed for a surge in the number of babies born with deformed, abnormally small heads. It comes as the United States extends travel warnings to pregnant women to parts of Africa and Oceania, with Australians, too, advised to exercise a high degree of caution in Brazil.
