A local New South Wales fire station is urging the Rural Fire Service to provide it with a bulk water truck - crucial, it says, in containing huge blazes in the region.


For more than 70 days now, firefighters at Capertee R-F-S Brigade have been battling blazes threatening the tiny village that has a population of around 150.
