The total number of coronavirus cases in Australia is now 15, after a Chinese man in Queensland was confirmed to have the virus. That news came as the second group of Australians evacuated from Wuhan finally touched down on Christmas Island.

For the 35 Australians arriving on Christmas Island in the early of hours Thursday morning, it was the last stop on an arduous journey.

Australian Medical Assistance Teams or AUSMAT [[ozmat]] and Australian Defence officials wearing face masks helped them to disembark before one by one they were loaded on to waiting buses.
