Protests are continuing in Romania despite the government revoking a controversial decree which would have protected politicians from being prosecuted for corruption offences. Romania's Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu says he won't resign despite hundreds of thousands of people taking to the streets calling for him and his cabinet to step down.

Six days in and the protesters are making it clear they're staying put outside government headquarters in Bucharest until the one month old left wing government resigns.

They've used a giant laser to shine anti-government slogans onto the government headquarters beaming the words "Resignation" and "Do Not Give Up" on its exterior.
