'No regrets': Fraser Anning dismisses petition to remove him signed by one million

Fraser Anning is unmoved by condemnation of his comments asserting Muslim migration was partly to blame for the far-right terrorist attack in New Zealand.

Anning responds to questions about be kicked out of parliament

Independent Senator Fraser Anning says he doesn’t regret blaming the Christchurch mosque massacre on Muslim immigration.

The Queensland Senator made the comments, which have drawn condemnation from around the world, in a press released issued just hours after the attack.

He says anyone who disagrees with his comments is free to vote him out of parliament.

"People can have their opinion. As I said, I'm happy for people to have their opinion. If they don't like what I said, that's fine. They're able to vote me out at the next election."

Senator Anning also defended his punching of a 17-year-old boy who cracked an egg on the back of his head during a press conference a day after the massacre, saying he acted in self-defense.

It comes a two months after the Senator illed taxpayers for flights to attend a far-right rally organised by a convicted criminal and self-described neo-Nazi.

In October last year he also used his maiden Senate speech to call for an end to Muslim immigration - and did so using the term "final solution", which was the name of a Nazi plan for the genocide of Jewish people during World War II.
