Qantas named 'safest airline for 2019'

Australian airline Qantas has been named the world's safest airline for 2019 by an online safety and product website, AirlineRatings.com.

Australian airline Qantas has been named "the world's safest airline for 2019".

Online safety and product website, AirlineRatings.com, named the airline - also known as the Flying Kangaroo - as top among the 405 airlines across the globe

The website also announced that Virgin Group Australia and Atlantic were among the top 20 safest airlines among leading carriers such as Air New Zealand, British Airways and Emirates.
