Queensland Senator Fraser Anning is defending his attendance

Queensland Senator Fraser Anning is defending his attendance of a far-right rally in Melbourne, despite intense criticism from across the country. The Independent senator is charging taxpayers for his flights, as he claims he was there representing his constituents The rally at Melbourne's St Kilda Beach on Saturday ((Jan 5)), which was organised by convicted criminals Blair Cottrell and Neil Erickson, saw some attendees perform Nazi salutes. Senator Anning told the Seven Network he wasn't involved in performing such actions.
