Two police officers shot in NSW

Two New South Wales police officers have been shot attending a suspected domestic incident at a house in the state's Northern Tablelands.

A female senior constable was shot in the neck and her male sergeant colleague in the face after police were called to the Glen Innes property last night.

Both were airlifted to Gold Coast Hospital.

Specialist officers later found the body of a 74-year-old man at the home.

A 59-year-old woman was also found nearby with minor injuries.
