NAIDOC week focus on education

Professor Lindon Coombes from the Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research spoke to Sofija Petrovic about education in Australia, particularly how it relates to Indigenous communities across the country. The incorporation of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander culture, language and traditions, is the next big step in education reform in this country. According to Professor Coombes and his colleagues, this step will benefit all children in Australia, from Indigenous and non- backgrounds.
