At the age of three a young Djordje used to beg his parents to fold him an imaginary accordion out of paper. When he finally got given a real instrument, he was barely big enough to hold it. Now, 21 years after his first paper instrument, Djordje is living and studying far from his hometown of Niš and his accordion has become his closest companion.
After completing his studies at the music high school in Niš, under the guidance of his professor Tijana Jovanović, Djordje decided to pursue music professionally. He completed his undergraduate university studies in Vienna, Austria at the Musik und Kunst – Universität der Stadt Wien under the guidance of Professor Grzegorz Stopa. It was during his studies that Djordje got a chance to travel the world, performing in several countries across the world from countries in former Yugoslavia, to Greece, Italy, Russia, Japan and Austria.
