May calls for tough action against UK 'extremism'

British prime minister Theresa May says the country's general election will go ahead on Thursday even as London recovers from another deadly attack. Ms May is calling for a stronger response to what she terms "extremism" in the aftermath of the attack. But opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn has questioned the impact of police cuts on the authorities' ability to protect citizens.
