"Море тишине"

Братислав Ћурчић добитник је награде Астрономског друштва Викторије "Crux" за 2016 годину. Он је освојио треће место за своју астро- фотографију "Mора тишине" на Mесецу. Награда му је уручена синоћ на свечаном пријему у просторијама друштва у Мелбунру.

Bratislav Curcic's 2003 image is part of a huge mosaic (approx 5000 by 10000 pixels) using

his 16" f/16 Dall Kirkham telescope. Parent image is a mosaic of 16 frames, each frame a stacked composition of 10 images, done with a Canon 300D at max. frame rate of 2.5fps.

Aftermarket firmware was used to provide mirror lockup to reduce vibrations. Framed with deliberate large overlaps to be able to use only the sharpest central area. Stacking, morphing and sharpening was done with Registax and Autostakkert, mosaic composition with PanoramaTools and final picture adjustments in Photoshop.
