Subsequent to the directions made by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Bond Issuance, Perpetual Treasuries Ltd owner Arjun Aloysius today handed over the requested-for electronic communication devices to the CID officials attached to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Bond Issuance.
The Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Bond Issuance had instructed Arjun Aloysius to hand over his mobile phones, laptops and other communication devices used since 2015.
At the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Bond Issuance proceedings, President’s Counsel Kalinga Indatissa who appeared for Mr. Aloysius submitted an affidavit containing the details of the devices requested by the CID.
The counsal asked whether he could handover his client’s communication devices to the CID but the DSG wanted Mr. Aloysius to do so personally.
