Australia faces an uncertain few days after a 3.3 per cent swing against the Turnbull Government has made another hung parliament possible.
With over 77 per cent of the vote counted, neither Labor nor the Coalition has managed to secure the 76 House of Representatives seats needed to declare an outright majority.
The official count to date from the Australian Electoral Commission has Labor leading in 69 seats and the Coalition in 64.
However, in projections, the outlook varies, with the ABC suggesting Labor has control in 67 seats and the Coalition in 65, with 13 seats in doubt.
Independents appear to have secured three seats so far, the Greens one and the Nick Xenophon Team one.
Counting resumes tomorrow (mon) for the Senate and on Tuesday for the House of Representatives.
