The United States Transportation Safety Administration will require airlines from 13 countries to ban passengers from carrying any electronic devices larger than a phone, the Guardian has reported.

The demand was circulated in an email to airlines marked “confidential” on Monday, the outlet reported, and would forbid passengers from carrying any form of tablet, gaming device, camera or laptop in the cabin.

Officials have reportedly told other media outlets an official announcement will be forthcoming, and the ban related to terrorism concerns.

The full list of countries has not been revealed, but appears to include Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Airlines have reportedly been given 96 hours to comply with the request.
