Energy minister Josh Frydenberg says Australia's gas reserves are safe, despite concerns the country could face a shortfall next year.
Mr Frydenberg's comments come after a warning from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
The Turnbull government has been threatening to impose export restrictions to ensure Australians are prioritised before international markets.
But Mr Frydenberg has told Sky News that's no longer neccesary, as the government has struck a deal with suppliers.
