Police in Florida have arrested a teenage gunman suspected of killing at least 17 people at a high school in Parkland north of Miami.
The mass shooting took place at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
The 19 year gunman is a former student who had been identified as a potential threat to other students in the past year.
The gunman is believed to have used an AR-15 rifle and killed 12 people inside the school, two just outside, one in the street and two died in hospital.
This latest incident is one of the deadliest mass shootings in US history in the past three decades and the 18th school shooting in the US this year.
