Criminal Investigation Department yesterday (15/08) questioned former first lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa for around 2.5 hours.

She had been questioned with related to the investigations connected to a defender jeep donated to Siriliya Foundation.

She was accompanied by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, MP Namal Rajapaksa and Yoshitha Rajapaksa to the CID.

Meanwhile, former president Mahinda Rajapaksa’s youngest son Rohitha Rajapaksa reported to the FCID yesterday.

He was summoned to record a statement in connection with a satellite project valued at 320 million rupees

Meanwhile, Yoshitha Rajapaksa is scheduled to appear before the CID today (16/08) to give a statement with regard to the murder of rugby player Wasim Thajudeen.
