Indian Ocean Rim Countries Association 2017 will be held tomorrow (Mar;7) in Indonesia

Sri Lanka's President Maithripala Sirisena has left the country to arrive in Jakarta, Indonesia today to attend the Indian Ocean Rim Countries Association 2017 (IORA) 20th anniversary celebrations, which will be held tomorrow (Mar 7), reveal. The regional organization primarily focuses on enhancing economic ties between nations present in the Indian Ocean, and will accommodate 21 countries at it summit in 2017. Foreign Minister, Managala Samaraweera will too be attending the summit along with the President, where two agreements are to be signed upon, between the governments of Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to arrive in Jakarta, Indonesia (6) to attend the Indian Ocean Rim Countries Association 2017 (IORA) 20th anniversary celebrations, which will be held tomorrow (7), sources reveal. 


The regional organization primarily focuses on enhancing economic ties between nations present in the Indian Ocean, and will accommodate 21 countries at it summit in 2017.
