Flight MH122 from Sydney to Kuala Lumpur was close to the West Australian coastline when it was forced to divert to Alice Springs on Thursday (18/01) afternoon.

"The sound was scary. I never experienced that sort of situation in my life. All of the passengers they feel very worried and some were praying. Some were crying, and you know. The situation was a bit tense and it was a scary day." he said.
