NSW to welcome 200 refugees

The northern New South Wales town of Armidale will accept around 200 refugees who have fled conflicts in Iraq and Syria.

Deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce is expected to make the announce of the new regional settlement site within his own electorate at an Armidale pub later today (Fri).

The humanitarian migrants will start arriving in Armidale from February next year.
