Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will meet with the chiefs of Australia's major electrcity companies next week to discus rising power prices.
Mr Turnbull has written a letter to eight of the bosses, telling them the rise in power prices has put serious pressure on households and businesses.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is due to release its interim report on the electrcity sector next month, and its final report in June next year.
