Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has signalled further co-operation on energy, education, and trade will be foremost on the agenda when he makes an official visit to India next week.
Mr Turnbull departed for Papua New Guinea today (07/04) afternoon, before arriving in India on Sunday
(09/04), where he will stay until Wednesday(12/04).
Mr Turnbull says he'll build on his previously established relationship with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi when the two meet on his trip.
Speaking in Sydney before his departure, Mr Turnbull says there's immense mutual opportunity yet to be exploited in the Australia-India relationship.
