Parts of the Queensland are recovering after being drenched by flooding rain over the past 48 hours.

The city of Bundaberg alone has copped 340 millimetres since Sunday night.

The State Emergency Service has responded to about 90 jobs in the area, with more than 4000 homes losing power.

The wild weather has sent debris flying and downed trees.

With rainfalls of more than 250 millimetres reported in communities between Bundaberg and Maryborough, the inland town of Roma also experienced minor flooding in the town's streets.

The system is now moving offshore and into NewSouth Wales but more showers are expected today (03/10).
