Former Eastern Governor Austin Fernando has been appointed as the President’s Secretary while former minister Rohitha Bogollagama was appointed as the new Eastern Governor.
Meanwhile, former Additional Solicitor General and President’s Counsel Kapila Waidyaratne has been appointed as the new Defence Secretary and Army Chief of Staff Major General Mahesh Senanayaka has been appointed as the new Army Commander by President Maithripala Sirisena.
