A Newspoll analysis suggests The Coalition Government could be at risk of losing 24 seats at the next federal election.

The analysis, published in The Australian, reveals the government has failed to claw back support in both regional and metropolitan seats.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison continues to lead Bill Shorten by nine points as preferred leader.
