Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera says the Prevention of Enforced Disappearances Bill will be tabled in parliament promptly.
The Statement added the bill is in no way connected to past circumstances and will only affect the future.
Issuing a statement the Minister noted the bill brings forth an opportunity for all citizens to live in a free, fair and wholesome society.
