The Victorian Health Department says four more people have been diagnosed with measles, taking the current outbreak to seven.
The state's deputy chief health officer says the cases are linked to others found since September 6.
The four new cases were infectious while at a number of places across Melbourne, including the M-C-G, Melbourne Airport, Chadstone shopping centre and D-F-O Essendon.
They were all contracted in Australia, apart from one patient who was infected in Romania and arrived in Melbourne on September 13.
Authorities have warned people to be on the lookout for symptoms, including a rash and a fever.
