Mr Barnett (WA premier) is making a last stand to hold onto his job.
He says if a Labor government is elected, Western Australia will see debt increase significantly.
"So what's the alternative? What's going to happen if a McGowan government is elected? Well, you can let debt go through the roof. Debt's higher than I like now, but it's not out of control, and we have a clear plan to reduce it dramatically. Under Mark McGowan, there is no plan at all, no acknowledgement that we need to deal with our debt situation."
Labor needs to win ten seats and get a ten percent swing to form government, which Mr McGowan admits will be difficult.
Western Australian Opposition leader ( Labour) Mark McGowan is making his final pitch to voters ahead of tomorrow's (sat)state election.
The Labor party are firm favourites to win the poll, and take power from the longest-serving current state or territory government in the nation.
Mr McGowan says after eight and half years of coalition rule under premier Colin Barnett, the state is beset by a litany of problems, and it's time for a change.
"In Western Australia, we now have the highest unemployment rate in Australia, the worst meth usage in Australia- perhaps the world, the longest waiting lists in history, and the worst ambulance ramping in history. And a government that just breaks promises every single day. It's time for a fresh start."
And one day before the election, One Nation has lost another candidate.
The candidate for the seat Scarborough, Margaret Dodd, will now contest the seat as an independent.
Dodd, who was a member of One Nation for four weeks, says she can no longer run with the party because it lacks integrity, honesty and transparency.
She is the fifth candidate to leave the party during the election campaign.
