January 26th is Australia's National day. On this day Local councils hold their annual citizenship ceremonies. However, 81 local councils across Australia have decided to change cancel their annual citizenship ceremonies from January 26th and move it to a different date. Many have supported this decision while some Australians are still opposed to this decision.
