Women who come to Australia as migrants or as refugees face many challenges in protecting themselves from domestic violence. This may be due to a language problem or a complicated legal situation. This time, the Central Budget stated that nearly $1 billion will be used to support the Leaving Violence Program, which supports women fleeing violence.
