Asylum Seeker Debate Continues

A festering wound that kills people. That's how Labor MP Melissa Parke has described Australia's asylum seeker policy which sees refugees who arrive by boat sent to offshore processing centres. The Member for Fremantle has made her final speech to parliament in a week when two refugees set themselves on fire on Nauru. One man died after being flown to Australia for medical treatment while a woman from Somalia remains in a critical condition.
