Melbourne emerges from lockdown - again - Covid scare in Gold Coast

Melburnians will be able to leave their homes whenever they choose to with a nightly curfew ending, and they'll be allowed to travel freely around the Greater Melbourne area.


  • Melbourne's latest lockdown has ended  with Victoria reaching its 70 per cent double dose vaccination target.
  • Warning for the people on the Gold Coast should get tested immediately due to an unvaccinated rideshare driver who stayed in  Melbourne for a while
  • Daily case numbers are significantly lower in New South Wales where 82 per cent of people vaccinated
