New larvae to control Dengue mosquito fever outbreak in Sri Lanka

Dr. Sagarika Samarasinghe, Director of the Entomology and Parasitology Unit of the Medical Research Institute stated, the larvae called Toxorhynchites splendens which are newly introduced has been spread into the environment in Sri Lanka to control the Dengue mosquito spread.SBS Sinhalese program interviewed Dr Sagarika Samarasinghe regarding this matter.
