SBS Sinhala feature on the latest updates on the federal election including the young first time voters under pressure to make "the right choice" at the election and their protest over their issues not being discussed by any main parties such as climate change or housing price and rent.

  • The Australian Electoral Commission says as at the end of February, there were over 610-thousand  Australians enrolled to vote aged 18, 19 or 20 years old.
  • Some young voters says, that young vote might not be the top priority for the major parties.
