Sri Lankan researcher Professor Gothami Weerakoon discovered more than 100 Lichens identical to Sri Lanka and altogether she was able discovered nearly 140 Lichens around the world. Professor Gothami Weerakoon currently working at The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago as Scientific Affiliate and SBS Sinhalese program interviewed Professor Weerakoon regarding her achievement.
