Australia's intelligence agencies and police chiefs have made a request to provide them with the opportunity to investigate conversations that take place through social media networks. The security forces point out that by not allowing the authorities to investigate such conversations, terrorist activities, spreading extremist ideas and child abuse can easily spread through social media without being caught by the law.
