Tribute to veteran journalist S Piyasena : SBS Sinhalese special program

Veteran journalist S. Piyasena passed away due to sudden illness at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital on 5th of April 2017.Mr : Piyasena began his career during the State Council days in 1942. He joined Lake House in 1948. He rendered a yeoman service to the media as an editor, sub editor and a feature editor as well. SBS Sinhalese radio brings you a special commemorative radio program upon Veteran journalist S. Piyasenas death. SBS Sinhalese invited to Mr Bandu Dissanayake (former honorary consul - Melbourne), Mr: DB Kruppu ( author based in Melbourne) , Mr: Don Wickrama ( former executive producer of SBS Sinhalese from Sydney) to join with this special commemoration.
