Veteran journalist S. Piyasena passed away due to sudden illness at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital on 5th of April 2017.Mr : Piyasena began his career during the State Council days in 1942. He joined Lake House in 1948. He rendered a yeoman service to the media as an editor, sub editor and a feature editor as well.
