Uncertain days as count in federal election continues

The Liberal-National coalition has put its hopes in pre-poll and postal votes to deliver the majority needed in the House of Representatives to form government. Senate ballot counting is also underway, as the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) says the final composition of the federal parliament may not be known for weeks.
